What does God have to do?

Is there anything God must do? Are there things that we can always expect of Him?

(Psalms 115:3 ASV) But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.

(Luke 6:38 ASV) give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again.
